Flying Wings

This project is a single courtyard building, and the surrounding environment is farmland, which is extremely broad, so there is excellent lighting on all sides, with the flow of light and shadow outlining a transparent and bright space atmosphere. The design inspiration is thus developed, with "flying" as the core concept, symbolizing the free extension of space, and not limited by the traditional townhouse, which only has front and back lighting and dark corners. Through the open layout and the delicate light and shadow, the house can show a unique expression with the rising and setting of the sun, creating a magnificent and changing living field.



The design of this project responds to the daily life and living pattern of the owner's family of five members, and carefully divides the public and private areas to meet the needs of family members and visiting relatives. The first floor focuses on gathering and social functions, through the smooth moving line planning and spacious reception space, to meet the gathering needs of nearly 20 relatives and friends during the new year festival, and creating an open gathering atmosphere. On the second floor, the living and sleeping areas are carefully built around the core of the living members' life, providing a comfortable daily living space. In addition, the second and third floors are planned to have a number of guestrooms to flexibly respond to the needs of visiting relatives and friends, making the space both functional and flexible. The overall design focuses on the arc elements, echoing the core of the "flying" design through the streamlined modeling of the ceiling and facade.
