About The Entry

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Tera features a standardized hexagonal modular cushioning system, enabling users to rearrange modules based on foot pressure and activity needs, creating a personalized support structure. This design balances cost-efficiency with customizable adaptability, setting it apart from traditional or custom shoes. With real-time app analysis and modular recommendations, Tera dynamically adjusts to deliver natural comfort and versatile support for sports, recovery, and daily use.

INSPIRATION

Inspired by nature’s adaptability, we translate this concept into footwear offering easy adjustments based on user needs. Researching foot pressure and gait analysis, we found every foot is unique, with needs changing over time, activity, and even between the left and right foot. We observed that traditional and custom shoes cannot easily adapt to the user. This inspired me to create Tera, footwear that adapts dynamically to every step, delivering natural comfort, just like walking on ‘terra’.
