The Project, located at the easternmost tip of the Jiangbei region where the Yangtze River meets the sea, stands as a symbol of purity, romance, and eternity. Originally a karting race track, this site was transformed in 2024 into a wedding hall that blends seamlessly with its surroundings, honoring both modernity and local cultural context. This project celebrates the profound transition that weddings represent—moving from one identity to another—while creating a space where couples can celebrate their love in a sanctified and timeless environment.

Drawing inspiration from a blooming flower, the design of the wedding hall embodies elegance, romance, and grace. The building evokes strength in its simplicity, offering a quiet, yet powerful atmosphere that allows couples to escape the hustle of life and reconnect with their inner selves. Surreal and almost ethereal in nature, the structure becomes a place where emotions flow freely, inviting couples to celebrate their new beginning with peace and beauty.

The exterior of the building takes inspiration from a white camellia, its curving, organic forms representing nobility and elegance. These sculptural walls, resembling petals, create a dynamic interplay of light and shadow. As the natural light diffuses across the surface, the hall's walls become a living canvas, constantly shifting throughout the day. At the entrance, a cross-shaped cutout subtly hides a Crosslight, which becomes visible as night falls. This glowing cross serves as a beacon, guiding the couples into the sacred space of the wedding hall, inviting them to a moment of eternal commitment.

Inside, the space is vast and open, much like a blank canvas awaiting the couple’s personal imprint. The all-white walls emphasize the purity of the occasion while distancing the design from traditional architectural forms. This modern, minimalist approach allows the essence of the ceremony to take center stage. As the light shifts and dances through the building, the space comes alive with both spiritual and emotional significance. The Crosslight Wedding Hall becomes not just an architecture, but a sacred space for the timeless celebration of love, capturing fleeting moments of beauty and connection that will last forever.
