This 92㎡ boutique optical store, exclusively selling world-class brands such as Lindberg and Akoni, breaks away from conventional retail space design by conceptualizing the entire space as an exhibition hall. The design philosophy centers on human needs—function, aesthetics, and spirit—while the underlying logic is based on cost, operation, and construction, creating a space that embodies a refined artistic ambiance.

The spatial layout emphasizes fluidity, featuring five sculptural walls that either float above the ground or detach from the ceiling, forming dynamic display areas within the irregular 92-square-meter space. The design minimizes excessive decorations and complex structures, utilizing microcement as the primary wall and floor material. Through a meticulous fifteen-step process, the surface achieves a velvety, fabric-like texture that harmonizes with the light-colored white oak display shelves, creating a visually and tactilely cohesive environment.

Lighting design serves as the highlight of this project, guided by renowned Singaporean lighting consultant Toh Yah Li. A four-level lighting strategy is adopted to focus attention on the eyewear display area. The brightest level features linear lights above the display boards and built-in cabinet lighting, clearly showcasing every detail of the glasses. Recessed spotlights enhance the exhibit contours with angled cone lights, while uniform ambient lighting provides balanced illumination throughout the space. Light strips at ceiling and wall edges create a floating atmosphere, aligning seamlessly with the exhibition hall concept. Additionally, the optometry room meets the professional lighting standards of Germany's Pasca optical rooms.

Eco-friendly materials reflect the brand’s natural aesthetic, with custom cabinets and multi-layer solid wood shelves showcasing exquisite craftsmanship. Designer furnishings like Achille Castiglioni’s Frisbi pendant light and Philippe Starck’s Victoria Ghost chair add a touch of artistic sophistication.
