**Project Name:** Magpie Restaurant

**Construction Area:** 400 sqm

**Project Cost:** 4 million yuan

**Completion Date:** March 1, 2023

The original building was a corner warehouse. To enhance its commercial value, the owner decided to transform it into a restaurant. The unique ecologi-cal scene of a flock of magpies gathering behind the warehouse every day be-came the inspiration for the restaurant's name. Thus, the name “Magpie,” which symbolizes auspiciousness and celebration, was born.

The overall design is based on the Neo-Republican style, integrating tradi-tional and modern elements. While inheriting traditional aesthetics, the design-er skillfully employed modern materials and lighting technology to create a space that exudes a fashionable yet classically elegant artistic charm.

A garden has been added at the entrance. The interior layout mainly con-sists of a dining hall, private rooms, and a seating area. In terms of color us-age, traditional Republican architectural color elements have been extracted and reorganized with modern materials to enhance the space's modernity. A modern lighting design approach has been used to shape the spatial hierarchy and charm.
