HORIZON MANSION

HORIZON MANSION is located in the East Lake High-Tech Zone of Wuhan, serving as the first fourth-generation residential sales center and clubhouse in the region. Rooted in the cultural essence of "Chu Feng Han Yun" (the elegance of the Chu and Han dynasties), the project blends modern Eastern aesthetics to create a sunken landscape garden clubhouse that embodies "elegance, luxury, refinement, and artistry."



The design draws inspiration from the rich cultural heritage of the Jing-Chu region, where Wuhan's High-Tech Zone now stands. By juxtaposing the old and the new while harmonizing tradition with modernity, the space achieves a seamless cultural continuity. The walls feature sequential motifs inspired by the bamboo slips of the Chu and Han dynasties, combined with stone textures to create a dialogue between history and contemporary design. The reception area incorporates Han-style screens and console elements, highlighting Eastern sophistication. A standout feature is the screen installation, inspired by the "Zeng Houyi Chime Bells" from the Hubei Provincial Museum, which employs a layered, gradient technique with modern minimalist detailing. Additionally, the ancient "interlaced dragon pattern" has been reinterpreted into modern designs, appearing in carpets and metal trims.



Despite challenges such as tight deadlines and multi-disciplinary coordination, the project was successfully completed through efficient collaboration and synchronized construction. The result is Wuhan's first luxury-class Eastern cultural space, perfectly encapsulating the regional spirit and legendary allure of the Chu-Han legacy.



The spatial design emphasizes hierarchy and order: the progression from the first floor to the lower level enhances a sense of ceremony; the symmetrical layout of the model area and bar reflects the traditional pursuit of balance and harmony; the sunken lounge area, with its enclosed form, amplifies spatial grandeur and exclusivity for guests; and the private dining hall extends the overall design language, further elevating the Eastern luxury experience.



HORIZON MANSION is not only a paragon of high-quality modern Eastern design but also a testament to the fusion of cultural symbolism and innovative craftsmanship. It delivers both economic and social value, adding a distinctive cultural landmark to Wuhan’s urban landscape.
