Residence of Chang

The owner in this case is a young couple, due to the work, usually has a short time together only in every weekend and holiday, so the design focuses on the "interaction" and "company". By the concise and lightsome line structure, lamp belt, and materials such as lukewarm clay and wood floor, the appearance of unadorned nature describes the husband and wife life.



Through the open design to connect the living room, dining room, kitchen and multifunctional study, to slightly change the kitchen, and introduce sufficient sunshine. In order to extend the sense of space, the continuous light belt and the wood floor laid in the same direction are used to deepen the axial visual impression of interior space. The material of hallway grille and TV wall is cut inclined, metaphorizing the conversion and level of the space. It can be used as a multi-functional room in the dining room and study, which opens the L-shaped wall, increases the amplitude of sunlight exposure, and achieves the purpose of saving the space.



The style design is based on the simple and cool grey gradation color system. The ceiling and wall surfaces are made of clay material, which adds a warm and natural sensibility through the uneven daub marks. With the same wood floor texture and lamp belt design, the visual traction extends the axial depth of the space.
