Licht

Licht Associate is a consulting firm specializing in lighting design. "Licht" is the German translation of "light". They aim to integrate the Bauhaus philosophy of "less is more" into thare design concepts. We apply this same philosophy to crate this innovative space seamlessly combines office functionality with an exhibition.

The design is characterized by clean lines and a minimalist palette dominated by white. Curvilinear elements, such as the gracefully curving wall and arched platforms, add a touch of fluidity and softness to the otherwise stark geometry. Suspended from the high ceiling are sleek, vertical lighting fixtures. They not only illuminate the area with precision but also contribute to the overall modern aesthetic, creating a sense of height and openness. These platforms not only provide a visually appealing way to showcase our art pieces but also guide the flow of movement through the space.

At the heart of this space stands a striking black sculpture, its textured forms and elongated silhouettes creating a powerful visual impact. The minimalist white surroundings serve to highlight the sculpture, making it the focal point of the space. Strategic lighting, both from the ceiling and the soft glow along the base, casts subtle shadows that enhance the sculpture's 3D quality and add depth to its intricate details.

The meeting room is an example of how light can transform a functional space into an aesthetically pleasing environment. Dominating the ceiling is a large, uniquely shaped stretch ceiling lightbox which can adjust color temperature to simulate nature lighting. Its soft, diffused glow bathes the entire room evenly and creating a comfortable atmosphere for discussions and collaborations. This central light source not only serves as a practical illuminator but also as a design statement, drawing the eye upwards and adding a sense of grandeur to the room.

This space is a harmonious blend of functionality and artistry. It serves as both a practical workspace and an inspiring exhibition area, where our designs can be experienced in a real-world context. It represents our unwavering commitment to creating spaces that are not only visually stunning but also functionally efficient.
