Hidden in City, Luxury at Heart: Reimagining Eastern Garden Aesthetics through Aman’s Subtle Opulence Philosophy

Located in the Central Innovation Zone of Xi’an High-tech District, the project spans a landscape area of 4,400 square meters. Inspired by Aman’s philosophy of “Rustic Simplicity and Understated Luxury,” the design caters to discerning individuals seeking a refined lifestyle. Through spatial layout, cultural artistry, and natural renewal, it creates a tranquil and pure ambiance of hidden luxury—marking Xi’an’s first Aman-style garden display area.

The overall layout is divided into three core spaces, forming an Eastern composition of “a courtyard within a garden and a garden within a courtyard,” emphasizing ritual and belonging:
01. Cloud-River Jade Courtyard: A secluded urban retreat that embodies the serene and dignified etiquette of traditional Eastern courtyards.
02. Stone-Spring Meditation Terrace: A contemplative courtyard designed for introspection and peaceful retreat.
03. Glazed Water Garden: A sunken sanctuary of pines and stone, a poetic space where nature meets contemplation.

Design Concept:
Simplicity as the Foundation, Hidden Luxury as the Essence
Crafting Space: Reimagining traditional Chinese layouts through modern techniques, creating serene, orderly spaces with shape and form.
Inheriting Culture: Preserve the beauty of Eastern philosophy, emphasizing the harmony between simplicity and ingenuity, presence and absence, motion and stillness, to evoke a sense of spiritual retreat;
Integrating Nature: Draw natural elements from the Qinling Mountains—clouds, stones, forests, rivers, flowers, transform them into artistic expressions, cultivating a secluded and self-cultivating garden atmosphere.

Three Aman-inspired spaces form a journey of inner retreat and refined tranquility;
Four artisanal installations showcase Eastern simplicity and craftsmanship, imbuing the space with cultural serenity;
Twelve bespoke materials and techniques from the GLORY OF GALAXY reflect a seamless integration of refined quality and local character.

The landscape design answers the call for inner spiritual resonance, crafting an Eastern resort-style lifestyle rooted in "serenity, modesty, seclusion, and luxury." It reimagines Eastern aesthetics and philosophy through modern expression—creating a garden retreat that reconnects with the inner self and harmonizes with nature, fulfilling the spiritual aspirations and living ideals of Xi'an's discerning elite.
