The packaging was inspired by bees from our own apiary situated at our premise. This year, we have harvested honey for the first time. We wanted to honor such precious and rate product with unique packaging. We wanted to show that bees become extinct is a real threat and we need to appreciate their great work.
The pack from the outside is really minimalistic – only with a gold motto “BEE inspired by nature!”. However, inside we have hidden swarm of bees. They were made using gold hotfoil. We have used this technique to give packaging additional value of reflecting the light. It should give the effect of bees being in motion. To highlight the ecological aspect of our honey, we have used FSC certified board – Kraftliner which is made partially from recycled pulp. The jar of honey was covered by linen cloth, tightened with jute twine and complemented by pewter label. All elements correspond to create delicate and harmonious effect.
