Fresh gray and white palettes compose a spiritual retreat, while the balmy wood tone soothes the restless pace of life. Flowing curves evoke a sense of isolated tranquility as sunlight weaves through the space, rendering a secluded Zen essence. The dining room and kitchen resemble a serene tearoom, where the delicate aroma of tea calms the weary soul. The resident reflects the homeowner’s longing for simplicity with a few thoughtful approaches. Deliberately curated artistic details create an orphic charm, embodying the designer’s ingenuity in distilling complexity. The designer crafted a minimalist essence and developed diverse textures to meet the homeowner’s preferences. Curved elements blend with shifting light and shadow, creating a balanced and nuanced home portrait. Additionally, the suspended shoe cabinet enhances a sense of openness and horizontal flow that invites guests into an exclusive sanctuary. An open layout facilitates connecting the dining room and kitchen while extending the spatial axis, responding to the lifestyle of entertaining family and friends. Besides, the designer considerably preserved the dining table’s expansive size to ensure comfort and ease for hosting guests. Behind the main door, an unconventional suspended shoe cabinet features a hollow circular opening as a platform. The hallway formed by the curved cabinet creates a continuous rhythmic flow intertwined with the wall and ceiling, and it smoothly guides the eyesight into the living room in a grayish tone. Cement-like textures match the dark-leathered sofa, blending a vintage vibe into a classic chromatic style. Wooden elements extend through the dining and kitchen combo area, and its warm textures complement an approach of living sense with metallic pendant lights in the bright and airy space.
The design team deliberately controlled the entrance scale without encroaching on the public area. The hollow arc-shaped design combined with the shoe cabinet allows guests to glimpse the interior upon entry, eliminating any sense of obstruction the cabinet might cause.
