Joyous Villa Landscape Design

The Silk Road—an ancient artery linking the landscapes and cultures from East and West—serves as the soul of this project. Rooted in the rich historical context of Xi’an, a city steeped in legend, the design draws inspiration from the Silk Road’s enduring grandeur and aesthetic spirit to craft a contemporary living environment with cultural depth and distinctive character exclusive to the residents of Xi’an. Joyous Villa series is not only a tribute to cultural heritage, but also a creation of new legends through place-making and poetic living.

A 330-meter-long visual display interface unfolds like a majestic urban scroll, forming the project’s ceremonial spine. From the architecture’s graceful silhouette to the meticulously arranged landscape scenes, every element speaks of sophistication and artistry. Walking through the space is akin to traversing a gallery of living art—immersive, elegant, and rich in narrative. The 880㎡ Joyous Forest serves as a whimsical world where children play among deer and families share joyful moments. This fairy-tale-inspired space redefines quality family time and opens a new chapter of everyday delight.

A 60-meter-long hotel-style grand entrance leads residents into a 1,500㎡ homecoming space inspired by silky imagery. Lining the entryway, sculpted black pines—symbols of nobility, longevity, and prosperity—stand tall on either side, mirrored by tranquil water features that together evoke the image of distant mountains and flowing rivers. Stepping through the entrance is like entering a magnificent painting, with intricate silk motifs paving the path, quietly guiding one home in elegance and grace.

In the central waterscape, Prada emerald green marble interweaves with polished Chinese black granite to trace the symbolic Silk Road waterway. The interplay of deep green and mysterious black brings visual richness, symbolic vitality, and cultural resonance—reflecting both the continuation of vitality and the transmission of heritage across time.
