XIAN BEGONIA

"Xi" signifies light. The landscape design of the Begonia aims to forge an emotional connection between the city, nature, and light, enabling people to chase the melodic rhythm of natural light and shadow amidst the hustle and bustle of the urban jungle. Dancing with light and pursuing dreams, it embarks on a journey of chasing light and dreams, crafting an elegant residence that embodies the aesthetics of urban light and shadow.

The main entrance unfolds its narrative with a profusion of blossoms. A welcoming water feature sprawls before the entrance, adorned with an artistic sculpture standing centrally, shimmering with radiant hues under the interplay of light and shadow. Gentle flows of bubbling springs and cascading water soothe the frayed nerves of those returning home, smoothing away the creases of stress.

The sunken courtyard adopts a multi-layered, three-dimensional migratory design approach, accentuating the richness of elevation changes and the structural force of nested interlocking, filling the space with surprises of exploration and the rhythm of art. Corridors, viewing platforms, cascading water features, walkways, and water extend in layers, creating a sense of lightness and floating amidst the interplay of light and shadow.

The entire space takes nature as its blueprint, with water flowing down according to elevation changes. Chinese tallow trees stretch out their branches, casting dappled light and shadow under the sun. Two begonia trees stand at the eastern and western corners, adorning this serene space with their elegant and understated posture and charm.
