The design of this sales center draws inspiration from the Plum Garden of the Rong family in Wuxi, reinterpreting classical garden aesthetics through a contemporary lens. Traditional elements are not simply echoed but thoughtfully transformed, reconstructing the living philosophy of Jiangnan aristocratic gardens in a language attuned to modern sensibilities. This fusion of past and present resonates with the dual aspirations of today’s refined elites: the search for both a spiritual haven and an elevated lifestyle.
The design utilizes subtle elevation shifts to sculpt a poetic Chinese-style landscape. In the foreground, luminous tones of gold, silver, and warm ochre create an opulent atmosphere, contrasted by the rich chestnut hues in the background. This interplay evokes visual depth and a spatial rhythm akin to traditional ink painting.
The layout follows a three-courtyard sequence, evoking a sense of noble heritage and ritual. It recalls the poetic imagery of Jiangnan — “a mossy path leading to plum blossoms, with subtle fragrance drifting in the air” — bringing to life the intangible charm of literati living.
Upon entering the reception hall, one is greeted by an atmosphere of understated luxury. The spiritual elegance of the Plum Garden materializes into form: a cascading crystal chandelier bathes the space in a soft golden glow, transforming it into a serene threshold for the journey ahead. Here, space becomes more than volume—it is a vessel for light and a refuge for the spirit.
In the negotiation area, the arrangement of furnishings is inspired by Song Dynasty painting principles—“sparse enough for a horse to pass”—creating a spatial philosophy rooted in clarity and restraint. As light filters through the expansive glass curtain wall, it plays gently across surfaces, animating the space with the ever-changing moods of day and season. Watching shadows drift across the room invites quiet introspection—an intimate moment of enlightenment amidst the rhythm of daily life.
