The project is located in Zhuhai, an emerging garden-style coastal tourist and resort city, distinguished by its mild climate, expansive sea views, and diverse cultural charm, making it a highly recognizable presence among southern Chinese cities.
We propose “Encountering the Blue Romance of 22° North” as the core concept, transforming the imagery of the sea into a tangible spatial language. With a blue-green color palette as the central theme, we create a resort-style garden system that blends healing qualities with aesthetic texture, allowing residents to experience the relaxed and poetic essence of seaside living in their daily lives.
The overall landscape layout comprises three main spaces: the Blue Garden Commercial Street, the hotel drop-off courtyard, and the Floating Light Pool Garden, connected by a covered walkway to form a complete homecoming path.
In specific nodes, the Blue Garden Commercial Street serves not only as a commercial interface but also as a composite domain integrating leisure ambiance, lifestyle sophistication, and garden aesthetics. As the community’s outward-facing interface, the open park-style entrance dissolves boundaries with a welcoming stance, using naturally transitioning scene designs to encourage lingering, interaction, or rest, achieving a seamless connection between entering from the external world and awakening to inner community life.
The Floating Light Pool Garden explores a dialogue between geometric scale and natural texture, expressing the elegant posture of seaside living. The blue-green palette runs throughout, with clear yet soft boundaries between water bodies and hardscape elements, creating distinct layers with a gentle touch. The open layout encourages visual penetration and spatial extension, transforming the pool from an isolated functional unit into an integral part of the community’s ecosystem.
The entire garden does not pursue intense visual impact or trendy “Instagrammable” features but is dedicated to creating a spatial quality that can be repeatedly perceived and continuously resonate-it belongs to Zhuhai and to everyone willing to slow down and embrace life.
