The HW450H is a ton-class VTOL equipped with a military-grade, range-extended hybrid powertrain. Its design prioritizes scientific rigor and function, resulting in a lightweight, low-drag airframe. Ready for flight in under a minute, the HW450H can take off and land in an area as small as 20 square meters. It folds down to a compact 4.7 × 4.1 × 2.43 meters, making it the world’s only eVTOL in its class that can operate in such tight confines. Its aerodynamic body is built on a core principle of symbiosis between form and function; the streamlined surfaces manage airflow to cut drag, reduce energy use, and boost fuel efficiency, creating a perfect balance of structural integrity and high performance. Versatility is at the core of the HW450H's design. Its modular architecture separates the power and payload systems, making maintenance and mission-specific upgrades straightforward. Key components like rotor blades can be swapped out quickly, allowing the single platform to adapt to diverse operational needs. For transport and storage, the wings and arms fold both horizontally and vertically, drastically improving space utilization. This entire system is unified by aerospace-grade interfaces, precise to ±0.1mm, guaranteeing that all modules lock together reliably for fast, secure deployment. The HW450H's power comes from an innovative, military-grade hybrid system that combines a fuel engine's raw power with the instant torque of electric motors. During vertical takeoff and landing, both power sources work in concert, unleashing 35 kN of thrust—enough force to rival several commercial helicopters. This ensures the HW450H lifts off swiftly and with complete stability, even when fully loaded, dramatically improving the efficiency and safety of its vertical operations. The HW450H’s tandem-wing and multirotor layout balances stable hovering with efficient cruising. Optional tilt-rotors can be added to boost speed and flight time. Its six-axis, twelve-rotor design ensures redundancy and a hover accuracy of ±0.3m—twice that of helicopters. The aircraft stays stable (within ±1°) even in 14 m/s winds, delivering performance that far exceeds civil aviation safety standards. The HW450H's Ice Crystal White finish and water-droplet shape deliver exceptional aerodynamic efficiency.
