Poly · Shouzhu Luwan - Egret Growth Paradise, Dongguan

Poly·Shouzhu Lvwan Project is adjacent to the Dongjiang River, the mother river of Dongguan. The Longwan Wetland Park is on the northwest side, and the wetland park and Longwan Island are on the northeast side, forming a natural ecological environment. Among them, Longwan Egret Island is located here, serving as a natural habitat for the little egret, a national second-class protected animal, where groups of egrets inhabit and reproduce. We take the egret as the core design element to build a connection between the site and the natural environment. Through gamified interactive experiences, children can naturally understand the importance of ecological protection during participation. At the same time, the image of the egret is endowed with a deeper symbolic meaning, representing the growth process of life and carrying the spiritual pursuit of returning to nature.

he egret-themed children's space design project is not only a spatial creation but also an exploration of integrating nature with childlike wonder. It offers kids an imaginative growth space where interacting with egret-themed facilities helps them appreciate natural beauty and spark curiosity. The project also showcases the design team's innovation in merging natural elements with children's needs, setting a valuable example for children's space design. This egret-themed space will surely become a joyful paradise for kids, accompanying them through moments filled with childlike wonder and imagination.
