Woven Bamboo as Gates, Lush Greenery as Courtyards
The project is located on the south side of Qianxiu Road, Wuhou District, Chengdu, with a quiet surrounding environment. We have extended the demonstration area both inward and downward, creating an exquisite entrance for returning home, integrated activity spaces, and an immersive vacation-like experience. By introducing high-end luxury hotel brands, we have built hotel-style public areas, aiming to balance public spaces with warm residences to form a "hotel-style living community".
The design of the main gate draws inspiration from the time-honored bamboo weaving craft, a national intangible cultural heritage with strong local characteristics. Inspired by techniques such as bottoming, weaving, and locking, it uses the sense of composition through width and narrowness, density and sparseness, as well as points, lines, and planes to embody the principles of formal beauty like balance, contrast, continuity, and repetition. The entrance screen wall uses metal instead of bamboo strips, presenting traditional art through modern methods and creating a collision between local culture and French aesthetics.
In the demonstration area, the first floor of the middle building is elevated, and sunken courtyards are added on both sides of the tower, forming a two-story elevated club system. Through convenient circulation design, it connects a series of public functions such as private banquets, children's activities, negotiation and book bars, fitness, and SPA. We have integrated the ground and underground into a whole, creating vertical and three-dimensional activity spaces, thus providing residents with greener public activity areas.
