Oneiropeacock: Roam Galaxies

This project originates from a vivid and fantastical dream in which I transformed into a peacock, its iridescent feathers shimmering as I stepped into a surreal, parallel world. To translate this otherworldly atmosphere into design, I conducted in-depth research on surrealist art and a range of visually striking films, extracting non-logical elements of color, form, and narrative. The peacock—an emblem of beauty, pride, and transformation—became my central visual motif.
Inspired by the avant-garde and theatrical works of Elsa Schiaparelli, I sought to combine her bold, narrative-driven approach with the relaxed and fluid silhouettes of sleepwear, referencing the clothing one might imagine wearing in the boundless state of a dream. Through a process of silhouette deconstruction, material juxtaposition, and structural reconfiguration, I explored the interplay between luster and softness, complexity and restraint.
The final garments merge sculptural shapes with flowing textures, layering symbolic colors and tactile contrasts to evoke both the majesty of the peacock and the ethereal quality of dreamscapes. This collection exists in the liminal space between reality and imagination, aiming to create a timeless fashion realm that embodies freedom, transformation, and self-awakening.
