Situated in the heart of western Sichuan plateau of China, Luhuo County serves as a vital hub for Tibetan cultural heritage. To preserve intangible cultural treasures like Thangka painting and Tibetan incense-making, this project establishes a comprehensive cultural industrial park integrating education, exhibition, and hands-on experience. With a built area of 25,000 square meters, the architecture creates a cultural medium where tradition dialogues with modernity.

The design draws inspiration from local vernacular dwellings, employing cast-in-place concrete - a contemporary material - to recreate Tibetan architectural textures through single-pour wood-grain formwork techniques. The modular timber structural system both preserves regional characteristics and enhances construction efficiency. Eschewing ornate decorations, the architectural form adopts clean geometric volumes to create a dynamic spatial sequence.

Functionally organized as an organic "trinity", the complex combines training workshops, exhibition zones, and cultural tourism facilities. Flexible instructional spaces accommodate diverse heritage transmission needs, while contemporary display techniques showcase intangible cultural heritage in the gallery. Interactive programs in the tourism sector boost visitor engagement. These three components form an integrated ecosystem for living heritage preservation.

Sustainability principles permeate the design: skylight systems optimize daylighting to reduce energy consumption; extensive use of local materials minimizes transportation emissions; solar installations enable clean energy supply. The architecture serves as both a contemporary interpretation of traditional wisdom and a paradigm of green construction.

Upon completion, the project will generate multidimensional benefits: providing vocational training and employment for local youth; stimulating economic growth through cultural tourism; enriching community cultural life. More than a physical container for heritage preservation, this industrial park acts as a catalytic engine revitalizing regional culture, ensuring traditional craftsmanship thrives in the modern era.
