The Light of the World is a groundbreaking ecological, vertical, and integrated city designed to redefine the future of urban living. Standing 1,800 meters tall with a base diameter of 1,600 meters, this three-dimensional city combines architecture, art, technology, and ecology into one monumental vision. The structure features a massive central hall, layered with concentric rings of buildings rising to various heights, culminating in a photovoltaic dome that acts as a smart, transparent curtain wall. Spanning 7.7 million square meters, the city includes residential, commercial, hospitality, cultural, and recreational functions. Designed to accommodate 250,000 permanent residents and up to 1.5 million daily users, it functions as a self-sustaining metropolis with intelligent building systems, maglev elevators, seawater desalination, and extensive vertical greening. The project is constructed using prefabricated, modular intelligent building technologies that enhance both environmental performance and construction efficiency. Aesthetically, The Light of the World integrates cultural heritage and contemporary art. Elements of intangible cultural heritage are embedded in the design, with contributions from world-renowned artists and cultural experts. Highlights include celestial art murals, traditional decorative motifs, and immersive performance spaces that transform the structure into a global art palace. Safety features are embedded at every level, with escape compartments, aerial sports zones, and resilient structural systems ensuring resilience. Public spaces include international exhibition centers, museums, adventure cinemas, theaters, luxury shopping, and green oases, all under one roof. The Light of the World is not just a building—it is a city in the sky, embodying a new paradigm in ecological urbanism. As a symbol of peace, culture, and sustainability, it stands as a global architectural milestone, marking a significant chapter in the history of human-built environments.
