The poetic allure of Haining resonates in the heroic ballad of the Qiantang River tides, the delicate verses of lantern displays and shadow puppetry, and the harmonious blend of scholarly elegance and bustling market life. Guided by this poetic spirit, as tides shift through four seasons, a subtle fragrance follows the light.
The landscape design adopts the poetic style of the Crescent Moon School, using the rhythm and tonal patterns of poetry in the Poet's Garden to shape a sequence of opening and closing vistas, transforming the demo area into a walkable, three-dimensional poem of fragrance. Inspired by Xu Zhimo's "Farewell to Cambridge Again," it crafts an immersive homecoming ceremony that fuses the poetic rhythm of the Crescent Moon School, the dynamic ebb and flow of tides, and the aesthetic charm of intangible cultural heritage.
The main entrance employs lightweight landscaping for a light, airy first impression. Guided by tide-like pavement patterns, a central cascading water feature pulses at the drop-off zone, with a lily bronze sculpture standing serenely above, evoking a refined hotel ambiance. The central water courtyard presents a triple illusion of "rainbow, moon, and rippling shadows" through mirrored waters, translucent bridges, and stained glass, establishing itself as the visual and spiritual core. Water cascades, echoing Qiantang tides, converge gently towards the center, where a delicate floral basin emits a gentle stream. As sunset falls, the courtyard mirrors a pool of evening glow, with the pavilion offering the perfect view.
