Dalian Coastal Cover

The project is located in Dalian, the romantic coastal metropolis, nestled against mountains on one side and embraced by the sea on two sides, sharing the rhythm of the tides. As an extension of the coastline, the landscape design introduces the essence of the sea into the park. Guided by the narrative theme of "Sea Rhythm, Morning Breeze: A Journey of Discovery," it extracts elements from the ocean—sea, wind, waves, islands, and beaches—and transforms them through derivation and reconstruction into seven distinctive landscape realms. The design permeates the entire site with the characteristics of the sea, shaping each functional space around the themes of "light, stone, wind, tide, waves, forest, and clouds." Through pure and minimalist design techniques, it sustains people's yearning for mountains and seas, creating a natural sanctuary and resort-like experience within the urban fabric.
