Lanting Xu G20 comes in a packaging design that harmoniously blends traditional heritage with modern aesthetics, contributing to a distinctive and memorable brand identity. Inspired by the renowned calligrapher Wang Xizhi’s masterpiece—Preface to the Collection of Poems Composed at the Orchid Pavilion—the design highlights his original calligraphy of “Lanting” as the centerpiece, a symbol steeped in historical and artistic significance. To complete the name, the design team meticulously crafted the character “Xu” to match Wang Xizhi’s brushwork, ensuring the trio “Lan,” “Ting,” and “Xu” achieves perfect visual harmony in structure and calligraphic fluidity—all elegantly displayed on a beige label.

The label’s layout is deliberately minimalist, retaining only essential information while eschewing unnecessary embellishments to let the calligraphy shine. Accompanying the script is an illustration derived from Ming-dynasty painter Wen Zhengming’s artwork—Purification Ceremony at Orchid Pavilion. This renowned painting vividly captures the famed gathering of scholars, evoking the refined ambiance of intellectual banquets and cultural sophistication. This artistic choice reinforces the product’s connection to elite social traditions and premium dining occasions while enriching the brand identity with cultural depth.

The bottle retains the Lanting series’ iconic silhouette, ensuring visual continuity. Crafted from crystal-clear glass, it beautifully showcases the yellow wine’s color while its refined texture subtly conveys a higher-tier positioning.
