McLaren Vision Heritage is a concept Hypercar aims at passing on the racing spirit and share the enduring passion of driving with a new generation. Vision Heritage honors the legendary legacy of McLaren and the indomitable racing spirit of Ayrton Senna, carrying this passion forward into a new era. Drawing inspiration from McLaren’s illustrious motorsport history, the project seeks to keep the brand's competitive DNA alive—celebrating speed, precision, and the relentless pursuit of excellence.
At the heart of the design is a unique central seating position, an iconic configuration reminiscent of McLaren's own road-going masterpiece, the F1. placing the driver in the middle of the car with two passengers seated behind. This arrangement delivers an uncompromising, driver-focused experience while offering a rare opportunity to share the exhilaration of the drive with others.
The exterior design is directly designed based on this unique seating package. From the top view, the cabin forms a distinctive arrow shape, projecting aggressiveness and a sense of readiness. Every line, intake, and contour reinforces both performance and a visual identity that conveys energy, speed, and focus.
The interior is shaped entirely from the driver's perspective. A halo ring structure encircles the driver, providing a sense of enclosure and protection akin to modern Formula 1 safety systems. This element serves not only as a physical safeguard but also as a symbolic boundary—creating an isolated driving zone where focus sharpens, adrenaline heightens, and the outside world falls away. In this environment, the driver experiences the same singular connection to the machine that Senna himself once felt hurtling down a straight at full speed.
