The Guangzhou Xiaomi Building Kuro Technology Office is a bespoke modern workspace for Kuluo Game, located in the heart of Guangzhou’s business district. Designed to foster creativity, collaboration, and brand identity, the office embodies the core principles of “Technological Aesthetics, Minimalism, and Human-Centered Design.”
The design achieves a balance between simplicity and innovation through clean lines, neutral palettes, and open-plan layouts, minimizing visual distractions while emphasizing efficiency and order. Modular furniture and flexible spatial configurations support dynamic team workflows, encouraging collaboration and adaptability. Brand integration is subtly embedded throughout, with Kuluo Game’s logos, signature colors, and IP motifs seamlessly incorporated into walls, partitions, and decorative elements, reinforcing corporate culture and identity.
Inspirational cues are drawn from the company’s game universe, translating virtual aesthetics into tangible spatial experiences. Curved partitions in the lounge echo the concept of “energy flow” from digital worlds, while linear lighting over workstations references the visual rhythm of code, creating an immersive interplay between the virtual and physical realms. LED screens embedded in collaboration zones display development progress or concept art, keeping the environment lively and inspiring.
Key functional zones are meticulously tailored: semi-enclosed workstations with acoustic materials ensure focus, while height-adjustable desks and circadian-inspired lighting promote ergonomics and wellbeing. The leisure area combines game-themed accents, arc-shaped seating, greenery, and interactive media, offering rejuvenation within the office environment. A dedicated showcase wall leverages dynamic projections to celebrate Kuluo Game’s IPs, enhancing visitor experience and brand storytelling.
Material selection balances technology and human warmth: anodized aluminum panels, acrylic light guides, and linear LEDs reinforce a futuristic atmosphere, while matte wood finishes and resilient rubber flooring provide tactile comfort. Interactive e-ink screens foster employee engagement and creativity. Sustainable strategies include intelligent lighting, energy-efficient HVAC, low-VOC finishes, FSC-certified wood, recycled carpet fibers, and integrated greenery to optimize air quality and environmental impact.
