Client's Name

Marcella Biscuiterie

Country / Region

Marcella Biscuiterie specializes in French handmade cookies. For the Mid-Autumn Festival gift box “Moonlight Versailles,” we aimed to blend traditional Chinese festivity with European elegance. The name evokes both the poetic imagery of moonlight and the refined aesthetic of the Palace of Versailles.
Reimagining Tradition in a Garden Setting
Inspired by the Mid-Autumn Festival tradition of enjoying snacks and moon-gazing with loved ones in the courtyard, we reinterpreted this scene as a European-style garden. In the visual design, the brand’s cat mascot joins the moon rabbit in this garden setting to enjoy cookies together. Here, the garden becomes a symbolic space that captures the festive spirit of reunion and sharing.
Sustainable Packaging
The box features a modular design with a replaceable lid. The bottom box can be reused, while the top lid can be updated for different festive themes or gifting occasions. This approach reduces packaging waste and eases inventory management.
Innovative Seasonal Products
We created the first Egg Yolk Pastry Butter Crackers, blending the flavor of traditional egg yolk pastry with our signature 2mm-thin French butter crackers. The shape and color reflect the original pastry, but with a lighter texture and longer shelf life.
Another limited item is the Yuzu Snowball, inspired by the tradition of sharing snowball cookies with loved ones during festive gatherings—a treat that evokes warm memories of family reunion.
Modern Gifting Made Easy
To suit modern lifestyles, we designed a compact six-piece gift box—affordable, shareable, and convenient. It brings festive joy into everyday gifting without the burden of overly large or high-calorie gifts.
Designed for Sharing Moments
The box also includes Almond Mille-Feuille, five types of handmade cookies, and berry- and floral-infused coffee—creating a complete, elegant tea-time experience for gatherings.
