CENTRAL THRONE Marketing Centre draws inspiration from the Song Dynasty's ‘YU TANG ZHI LAN TU,’ blending the philosophical concept of ‘changing views with each step’ from Lingnan gardens with modern spatial aesthetics to create a flowing oriental lifestyle scroll. The design centres on the magnolia as the visual theme, using light and shadow narratives to construct a realm where reality and illusion intertwine.
Upon entering the space, the magnolia chandeliers suspended from the dome ceiling are crafted from metal and translucent hard membranes, blooming in elegance, while the ground is adorned with flickering flower shadows like dewdrops at dawn. Abstract magnolia wall lamps and bamboo flower stands engage in dialogue, blending strength and grace to interpret the Lingnan elegance of ‘abundance and prosperity.’ Along the viewing route, elements such as lion dance culture and tea ceremonies unfold gradually, while scenes like the book bar and courtyard transform traditional imagery into contemporary experiences.
This is not merely a marketing space but a garden stroll—every corner holds a world, with light and shadow as the brush and space as the poem. Amidst the fragrance of magnolias and the rhythm of gongs, the enduring elegance and vitality of Lingnan culture are reimagined.
