The Qingyuli project is located at the eastern gate of Tai’erzhuang Ancient City, with a total floor area of about 40,000 sqm. It integrates a central commercial hub and street blocks, including a supermarket, food court, family-friendly spaces, cultural theater, and flagship stores. Its purpose is to complement the ancient city’s visitor facilities and create a new landmark for leisure and cultural experiences.
The design follows the concept of “Reviving Tradition, Inspiring Vitality.” Drawing from canal heritage, it merges modern architectural language with regional culture. Clean lines, open public spaces, and flexible façades shape a contemporary Chinese style that resonates with historic context while expressing a modern character. Inspired by the imagery of “river” and “dock,” the design conveys the flowing spirit of commerce, combining echoes of ancient canal trade with today’s urban vitality.
In terms of positioning, Qingyuli creates differentiation and synergy with nearby areas. While the Ancient City emphasizes immersive history and Yudeng Lane focuses on traditional trade, Qingyuli highlights modern leisure, stylish dining, and cultural upgrades, appealing to young people, families, and quality-conscious visitors. Together, they form a layered experience: Ancient City for history, Yudeng Lane for tradition, Qingyuli for lifestyle.
The name “Qingyuli” signifies both the abundant legacy of the canal and the prosperity of the city’s renewal. Looking ahead, the project aims to become a regional hub for specialty cuisine and family entertainment, combining culture, commerce, and tourism. It is envisioned not only as a daily destination for residents but also as a must-visit stop for tourists to Tai’erzhuang.
Through innovative spatial design, cultural integration, and curated operations, Qingyuli aspires to be a signature street district of southern Shandong—anchored as a provincial landmark and advancing toward national recognition. It will stand as a vibrant symbol of local character, offering residents and visitors an immersive, modern, and culturally rooted urban experience.
