It is not only a key node in the development strategy of Guangzhou's eastward expansion, but also a focal point of the international comprehensive financial center, the digital economy integration and innovation leading area, and the model area of the Pearl River waterfront vitality. This project will become a powerful driving force for the economic development of Tianhe and even the entire Guangzhou. The eastern area of the Financial City, where the project is located, is dominated by business office and comprehensive commercial functions, presenting a modern and vibrant industrial space. The ONE PENGRUI project is precisely located here, like a strong pulse of Guangzhou's development in the next decade, aiming to create a global influential landmark complex that surpasses ONE SHENZHEN BAY.
As a new landmark rising along the river, ONE PENGRUI, together with the Pearl River, demonstrates to the world a global vision and boldness. We delved into the core concept of the site and invited the artist Oliver Barratt to create a brand-new public artwork. As a representative of modern sculpture in the UK with international recognition, Oliver Barratt is one of the few artists who have received the Henry Moore Foundation Award. His works, featuring vibrant and exquisite flowing shapes, are collected by important cultural venues around the world. Guangzhou, a city that thrives on water, embodies the potential energy of Guangzhou people in harnessing water. Through the interconnected artistic form of flow, it showcases the potential power of accumulation and burst, combined with color changes to achieve exquisite quality, bringing to ONE PENGRUI, a top project in Guangzhou, the artwork DRAWING WATER, which expresses the "prosperous power" of the Pearl River.
