This residence, once a traditional home with three bedrooms and a shrine room, has been thoughtfully reimagined to meet the needs of the houseowner. The layout now features two bedrooms, allowing the public spaces to expand and transform the home into the perfect social space, ready to welcome guests with open arms. An open plan invites daylight to flow freely, extending clear sightlines throughout the interior. At its heart lies an aesthetic of understated luxury. Paired with natural stones, deep tones and fine craftsmanship create a space where layered light and shadow add a touch of unparalleled grandeur. From the entryway, light unfolds the atmosphere layer by layer. A translucent marble wall, “Angel’s Wings”, greets the entrance with a soft, glowing presence. Its light reflects across mirrored ceilings and stone flooring, casting a welcoming ambience that gently transitions from the outside world into a calmer inner world. Stepping into the living room, the main wall clad in stone establishes a grounding foundation. Overhead, light flows along gentle arcs, weaving with the wall textures to create a layered space. The interplay of light and shadow flows effortlessly into the dining area, shaping an immersive atmosphere where shifting glow guides movement from one zone to the next, and daily life unfolds in quiet warmth. At the junction of living and dining rooms, a concealed door, “Ocean of the Moon”, echoes the central chandelier. Beyond hiding the restroom entrance, it enriches the narrative, creating a space that tells the story. Along the dining room’s wall, a cabinet that displays wine bottles inspired by Chinese zodiac signs comes into view. Here, metal, glass, and mirrored surfaces intertwine, composing a scene that is both refined and quietly grand, transforming the owner’s passion into a beautiful view within the home. The private sphere carries forward the theme of quiet luxury, with a tranquil grayish-blue palette setting a serene tone. Stone panels and latticework create a calm and cozy atmosphere.
