Positioned as a corporate headquarters clubhouse, this project serves reception, leisure, and social needs while embodying the client’s lifestyle and values. Rooted in the client’s passion for yacht sailing and nautical exploration, the design draws from the “old money aesthetic of the Age of Navigation,” translating this refined sensibility into spatial form. At the same time, it aligns with the client’s preference for an understated, calm, and restrained atmosphere, ensuring the space becomes a natural extension of their life rather than a showcase of design.
The core principle centers on “serving people,” rejecting designer-led style imposition and instead allowing the environment to elevate life taste. This philosophy guides the full-chain design process, encompassing hard decoration, soft decoration, landscaping, and a custom-engineered sky curtain wall. The overall style is restrained yet sophisticated: sharp lines are avoided, and curved elements are woven throughout to convey calm elegance.
Technically, the project integrates a 360-degree curtain wall with tri-silver coated glass to balance transparency and energy efficiency. The sky curtain system supports open-close control, preserving spatial integrity while adapting to diverse scenarios. Materials meet European E0 and F4-star environmental standards, ensuring safety and texture.
Addressing the challenge of dual circulation, the plan separates active and quiet zones with closed-loop management and wireless access control systems, while respecting the client’s preference for physical operation over purely digital modes. Custom-developed smart modules ensure system compatibility and stability.
Distinctive from conventional projects, it excels in three areas: end-to-end design integration, a counter-mainstream “space adapts to people” logic, and the balance of privacy with customized functionality.
Sustainability is embedded at every level. A five-constant system minimizes energy use, tri-silver glass reduces thermal gain, and motion sensors prevent energy waste. Water is recycled for fish tanks and plant irrigation, and eco-friendly materials enhance both health and air quality, addressing the client’s rhinitis needs. Over time, this strategy achieves a win-win between environmental responsibility and long-term practicality, making the space both human-centered and future-ready.
