Located in the core area of Yantai High-Tech Zone, this project leverages superior geography and scarce planning resources to establish a benchmark for low-density residential living. Supported by Greentown’s Construction Management 4.0 System, it addresses mainstream improvement demands while balancing high-end positioning with market absorption, filling a regional gap and setting a model of “differentiated competition and full demand coverage.”
The design draws deeply from the vastness and vitality of the ocean, transforming natural elements such as waves, marine life, and underwater light into a unique spatial language. Instead of stacking symbols, it reinterprets natural forms with originality and vitality. The lobby floor features layered wave patterns inspired by whales splashing through the sea, animated by multimedia light and shadow effects that freeze the dynamic moment of sound waves bursting across the surface.
A spiral staircase abstractly extends the curves of a conch shell, with a gradient palette from ocean blue to coral orange, creating a dreamlike transition between sea and reef. At the clubhouse entrance, a dome composed of hundreds of petal-like structures evokes surging waves, while ceilings in the gym and yoga studio pair rounded corners with soft lighting reminiscent of moonlit tides. These elements bring nature’s rhythm into functional spaces.
Breaking away from conventional residential projects, this development creates an “immersive underwater secret realm,” combining functionality with art and nature. The result is a living environment enriched by aesthetic expression and sensory experience far beyond traditional offerings.
Beyond spatial innovation, the project uses the ocean as a spiritual link, merging ecological reverence with architectural art. It serves not only as a residence and leisure hub, but also as a cultural platform promoting marine awareness, environmental protection, and aesthetic literacy. By aligning nature, art, and sustainability, the project forges a distinct cultural and spiritual identity, establishing a differentiated advantage within the residential market.
