The Artisan Wilds

This landscape design project is located in Fuzhou, Fujian Province, and is titled “CDF 10101 Chen Residence Landscape Design.”
Its purpose is to transform the existing site through professional design and construction, creating an exclusive garden for the owner that is both beautiful and functional, and that offers a taste of untamed nature within an urban living environment.
The project is guided by the core philosophy:
“Craft every detail with ingenuity to create garden beauty; within the city, discover the joy of the wild.”
Throughout the design process, the spirit of craftsmanship is fully embraced—every detail is meticulously refined to achieve a high-quality landscape. At the same time, recognizing the project’s urban context, the design deliberately seeks out “wild” elements, breaking free from the regularity and constraints of the city. By infusing the landscape with the vitality and spontaneity of nature, it allows the owner to sense the breath of the wild in daily life, enjoying the ease and delight of returning to nature and realizing a harmonious coexistence between city and nature.
