In response to the previous pain points of Bagua 1st Food Street, such as messy environment and weak brand image, DDBranding took the “integration of publicity, culture, tourism and commerce” as its core strategy and promoted the Street's renewal through three key initiatives: first, reconstructing the pedestrian space to solve the problems of mixed pedestrian-vehicle flow and narrow space; second, creating three key nodes and five pocket parks to make up for the shortage of supporting facilities; third, introducing wayfinding systems and interactive installations to enhance the on-site experience.
These series of measures not only effectively improved the Street's brand recognition and appeal, but also activated its commercial vitality and cultural value. It successfully drove the transformation of this old street towards modernization and diversification, helping it become a “new cultural and tourism card of Shenzhen”.
