Haicheng Sky Villa Phase II, Chongqing

The vision was to create a poetic interpretation of lakeside dwelling, evoking the sensation of floating above "the Nine Realms"—a layered tapestry of landscape experiences. The theme, "Myriad Acres of Streams · The Seal of a Floating Life," translates the essence of traditional ink-wash painting into a contemporary architectural language, where sky and earth merge into a single, seamless reflection.
Design Narrative
Inspired by the formless fluidity and reflective beauty of water, the design embodies this concept both spatially and experientially. A palette of Agarwood Beige granite and Prada Green marble defines the spaces, establishing an atmosphere of understated luxury and refined elegance.
Innovation & Craftsmanship
The project introduces architectural innovation particularly in the corridor façade, where custom techniques were developed to achieve a lightweight, non-standard expression. Inspired by the "Sunset Hanging Pavilion" concept, the structure appears to drift delicately above the water's surface—a distinctive feature that challenges conventional residential design.
