Pearli is a gamified digital health product designed for adolescents in the orthodontic retention phase, addressing the 67% relapse rate caused by poor retainer compliance.
Pearli is not only the name of our product but also the little spirit we've created. Through Pearli, we aim to guide dental retainer wearers through a journey—transforming their perception of this daily necessity from annoyance to familiarity, and ultimately, to genuine fondness. This is the power of gamification: turning a tedious treatment process into an engaging experience.
We connect the product and the behavior through a seamless blend of real-time monitoring and emotional engagement. The smart retainer case tracks wear time with haptic sensors, while Pearli—the virtual companion—transforms this data into a dynamic growth journey. By turning compliance into a visual, rewarding experience, we bridge the gap between a clinical routine and a playful daily habit.
