360 West Broadway High-end Residential Building

This high-end residential competition project is located in the heart of SoHo, New York, one of the city’s most iconic and culturally rich neighborhoods. The competition brought together world-renowned architectural firms such as Zaha Hadid Architects and Foster + Partners, each aiming to redefine the character of contemporary luxury living in Lower Manhattan. The goal of the project was not only to create a new architectural landmark for SoHo but also to establish one of the most refined and prestigious residential buildings in Manhattan—an address that embodies sophistication, artistry, and urban elegance.
Our design draws deeply from SoHo’s distinctive “feminine” characters. In contrast to the strong, rigid geometries of many New York skyscrapers, our concept sought to express softness and fluidity. The building was envisioned as a smooth, sculptural form that merges effortlessly with its surroundings, reflecting the layered history of SoHo’s cast-iron architecture while reinterpreting it through a contemporary lens. The tower’s curves and transitions evoke a sense of movement and grace, transforming it into a living urban sculpture that captures light and shadow in dynamic ways throughout the day.
At its core, the project celebrates balance—the intersection of art and architecture, strength and delicacy, modernity and heritage. The façade system, material selection, and spatial composition were all guided by this duality, resulting in a design that feels both timeless and innovative. More than just a luxury residence, the building aims to offer a sensory experience—a new architectural expression for SoHo that honors its creative past while looking boldly toward the future. This project stands as one of the most daring and design-driven works our firm has undertaken, reflecting our commitment to pushing architectural boundaries through elegance, innovation, and cultural sensitivity.
