Upper East

This project is situated directly above the Dongmen (East Gate) Station of Taipei Metro, preserving the land's history and the urban changes passed down by three generations of landowners. The site is between the Yongkang Business District, the Kuling Street Art and Culture Belt, and Da-An Forest Park, near the National Theater, NTNU Campus, and the historic East Gate, linking cultural, artistic, and natural resources.
The building adopts a unified design language from its rose gold facade and an entrance with a height of 4.2 meters to the rooftop pool and skip-floor suites. With hotel style apartments on the lower floors, flexible suite layouts at mid levels, and a top level suite integrating a spiral staircase and terrace, the project maximizes space on a compact site to form a vertical micro community.
The building's exterior design reflects the dual urban setting by using metal components to mirror the geometric volume of the East Gate cultural district. Stone textures are incorporated to match the friendly feel of the neighboring residential area, while arched proportions, layered roof lines, and stable color tones from the East Gate are integrated into a modern design language. This creates a contemporary landmark that rises vertically along the street.
Inside, the space begins with the first-floor hall, which establishes a welcoming atmosphere and a steady tone through green stone patterns, metal accents, and warm colors. The rooftop infinity swimming pool, paired with a green platform, creates a private oasis amidst the city sky. The 353m² skip-floor suite features nearly six-meter-high curtain windows offering expansive views, with two living rooms connecting to an outdoor terrace that showcase generous living space. Beneath the building, a three-ton-capacity intelligent vehicle tower is installed, with parking spots fully equipped for electric vehicle charging, enabling any vehicle to charge while parked.
