“Every cloud has a silver lining.”
Curved outlines form a silhouette of clouds floating through the interior, subverting our senses with imagery that carries the heaviness of being so lightly. The reception desk is a sculpture in itself, which along with the relief sculpture patterns create the ambience of an art gallery, reduce the commercial nature of the space. The reception area is adjacent to both the outdoor waterscape and zen garden revealed through glass curtains on each side; the exterior penetrates through to the interior creating a relaxing oneness and allowing Zen tranquility to seep through from the outside. The spiral staircase at the end of the central axis has a sculpture beneath it that gives off the aura of a mysterious oriental stone, drawing us in with its glittering luster to become the visual focus of our attention.

Conforming with the sculptures and the snow-white art gallery texture of the first floor, the second floor furniture is made up of straightforward geometric mass, the simple contours producing modern. A long table in the multifunctional room provides a visual feast of artwork thereby forming the communal gathering spot. The interweaving tree shadows printed on the light film ceiling allow visitors to enjoy the poetry of sitting and chatting under the shade of the trees, the natural imagery brings the outdoors inside, which invites a vacation atmosphere and a sprinkling of natural landscape.

Giada uses those elements closest to nature — the warm brown woody colour,snow season aura and the soft white of the floating clouds and some droplets of Dongdaihe sea blue — and blends them together into the building volume that is both modern and simple, to create a luxury coastal resort.
