This design breaks away from the sterile, rectilinear conventions of the traditional automotive showroom, introducing a fluid and organic narrative that embodies the spirit of AC Cars. The space is conceived not merely as a container for vehicles, but as a true extension of the brand's legendary craftsmanship.
The core concept, "The Rhythm of Curves," takes inspiration from the hand-crafted, aerodynamic silhouettes of luxury sports cars. The interior deliberately abandons cold, rigid partitions. In their place, flowing curved walls and a dynamic spatial layout guide visitors through an immersive journey, evoking the motion and rhythm of driving on a winding track. This approach softens the environment, creating a harmonious dialogue between the architecture and the sculptural forms of the automobiles.
Materiality is crucial to this immersive experience. Extensive use of floor-to-ceiling glass fosters transparency and a sense of boundlessness, subtly blurring the demarcations between functional zones while faithfully adhering to the brand’s signature color palette to ensure a cohesive visual identity.
The crowning feature is an artistic lighting installation. Paying homage to the brand’s heritage, the ceiling lighting is meticulously arranged to interpret the iconic Union Jack. This luminous tribute to its British origins infuses the space with an air of aristocratic elegance and timeless style, while simultaneously highlighting the pristine contours of the sports cars below.
