We're all familiar with the phrase “less is more.”
However, from the beginning of design on a blank design paper, we must keep adding things.
Just like in our life, we enter a new environment, meet a new person, and then set off on a new path in life.
When we first met the owner of the house, we were still architecture majors. The piles of gray cardboard models and black line drawings were parts of our unforgettable memories.
Therefore, black and gray are the best choice for the living room's palette. "People" are the most important part of memories.
It's all about people.
The traditional partitions of living room, dining room, and kitchen are abandoned. We created a living space that spreads outward in the form of a circle to bring close communication between family members. The ubiquitous grid shapes symbolize the emotions of the family and remind us that we have the most solid support from each other.
The regional planning with exotic elements also connects to old memories. Using wire mesh as decoration which is rare in residential space, the original aesthetics of the space is realized between virtual and reality.
Meanwhile, we have extended the base of public domain to the bedroom. Through the visual extension of different techniques, the use of space is maximized. The master bedroom and dressing space not only function well, but also retain enough personal space and privacy needed in life.
The concept of "less is more" is not the only thing that matters. We manage to "do more with less."
More connections, more memories, more life.
