Casai, which comes from ‘casa intelligente,’ is an emerging markets hospitality brand known for its beautiful and intelligent living spaces well suited for the nomadic generation. Every Casai has keyless check-in, a Google Home, Chromecast-powered TVs, high-speed WiFi, and more that can all be controlled from the Casai app. Travelers want authentic experiences in local neighborhoods but also crave the consistent quality hotels offer. Casai brings together both. Each Casai apartment is designed with local influences in mind, including art from local artists, artisanal hand soap and furniture, supporting local communities in Latin America and emerging tourism economies as it infuses fresh capital into the ecosystems. Casai is designing the units to be an interactive exploration / celebration of the local artisans who helped build the space. Through QR codes displayed throughout the apartment, guests can learn about (and purchase from) artists who decorated the apartment.
