The project is located in Zhuxinzhuang, Changping District, Beijing, nestled in the core hinterland of Future Science City. The region boasts vigorous innovation momentum and a highly integrated technological ecosystem. Surrounded by Changping New City Riverside Forest National Park and adjacent to Huilongguan Ecological Leisure Park in the east, it forms an ecological base featuring interwoven blue (water) and green (vegetation) spaces as well as interdependent mountains and rivers, enjoying the natural endowment of "superior wind and water" and microclimate advantages.
Leveraging its superior location and composite functions, the project takes "Appreciating Humanistic Ecology, Embracing Technological Future" as its design core, deeply integrating the concept of sustainability into spatial narrative.
The main entrance of the community is constructed with a diamond motif spanning nearly 40 meters in width. Through the rational combination of off-white low-carbon building materials and ultra-scaled overhanging eaves, it creates a gateway image that combines a sense of the future with a solemn temperament.
The detailed treatment draws on the technical logic of precision electronic products. The arc-shaped interfaces soften the building boundaries, realizing a symbiotic expression of technical precision and natural poetry.
A covered corridor (grey space) is set on the east side of the homecoming route, which not only improves the comfort of all-weather passage but also reduces energy consumption through passive shading and natural ventilation strategies, enhancing the human-oriented experience. The corridor seamlessly connects to the void deck, opening up indoor and outdoor ecological corridors, promoting air and sight flow, and constructing a continuous and permeable green living interface.
As a vitality hub of the community, the void deck integrates a coffee bar, courtyard and water features, creating a quiet atmosphere with small bridges and flowing water. The full-view floor-to-ceiling windows and open bar blur the boundary between inside and outside, seeking a dynamic balance between openness and privacy, social interaction and solitude.
