CareBridge is a user-centered mobile experience designed to help patients navigate healthcare provider changes caused by annual insurance coverage updates. These changes often create confusion, stress, and gaps in care - particularly for elderly users and those managing ongoing medical needs.
The UX design prioritizes clarity, predictability, and accessibility. Complex healthcare and insurance information is translated into simple, actionable steps that guide users through early preparation, provider comparison, and seamless transfer of care. Each interaction is intentionally minimal, reducing cognitive load and helping users make confident decisions without feeling overwhelmed.
Special attention is given to older adults through large touch targets, clear visual hierarchy, plain language, and guided flows that minimize decision fatigue. The experience is designed to be inclusive for users of all technical abilities while remaining efficient for younger and more experienced users.
By focusing on continuity of care and proactive action, CareBridge transforms a traditionally reactive and stressful process into a calm, supportive user journey. The project demonstrates how thoughtful UX design can remove systemic friction, improve healthcare access, and ensure patients receive the care they need without interruption.
