The design concept integrates Huizhou cultural elements with contemporary aesthetics to create a harmonious modern dining experience. The facade merges traditional Huizhou style with modern design, using linear structures that complement traditional architecture. A single-sided eave extends to the ground, giving the storefront a unified and distinct appearance, evoking the charm of Huizhou's classic architecture. The design highlights tradition while maintaining a balanced fusion of old and new.
Inside, the first floor accommodates a casual dining area, a bar, and an ingredient display area. A modern-style pavilion encloses the ingredient display, providing a natural flow between zones and infusing the space with Huizhou architectural culture. The pavilion softens the transition between the ingredient area and the rest of the space, making it inviting. To the left of the pavilion, the bar area features floral arrangements that enhance the atmosphere, while to the right, the casual dining area is partially enclosed by a booth positioned near the window, offering privacy for diners. Wooden carved pillars reinforce the Huizhou aesthetic, and a landscape painting of southern Anhui's mountains and rivers adds cultural depth.
On the second floor, the design uses a darker color scheme, inspired by Huizhou’s natural beauty. The staircase entrance echoes the green mountains and clear waters of the region. The corridor uses dark gray and white tones, reflecting Huizhou-style architecture. Materials like travertine, textured paint, metal, and wood create a sophisticated feel. The furnishings follow the theme of "reviving antiques and reinterpreting them in a modern way." Carefully selected Huizhou antiques are displayed in a museum-like manner, adding cultural and artistic value to each private room.
The design balances tradition with modernity, integrating Huizhou culture with commercial functions. It creates a space where art, culture, and commerce coexist, offering an environment that celebrates both Huizhou’s history and modern design.
