Smart Farm Enjoying Farming

This project is located in Dawan Town, Yubei District, Chongqing, covering a total area of 5.7 square kilometers. It is a rural revitalization demonstration project that integrates smart agriculture and farming experience. Guided by the core concept of "Smart Agricultural Park, Joyful Farming Experience", the design activates the endogenous dynamics of rural areas through landscape planning, creating new cultural and tourism products. It transforms cultural inheritance from "museum-style preservation" to "living inheritance", making rural culture a genuine spiritual bond for revitalization.
Industrial Integration & Smart Empowerment
Based on 4,003 mu of farmland and 35.11 mu of forest resources, the project builds a complex business format of "Agriculture + Technology + Culture & Tourism". The smart agricultural system improves production efficiency, while diversified scenarios such as farming experience, science education and organic catering extend the value chain. It realizes industrial upgrading from "selling products" to "selling experiences", opening up new channels for increasing farmers’ income.
Ecological Livability & Community Co-construction
Adhering to the principle of "Unified Style, Ecological Livability", the design improves the living environment and restores the ecological foundation. By preserving natural textures such as peach forests and water systems and integrating modern recreational functions, it retains the nostalgic charm of a "Xanadu" while satisfying urban and rural residents’ pursuit of high-quality rural life. It explores an effective path to transform ecological value into economic value.
Through design as a medium, this project connects cultural protection, industrial development and ecological construction. It is a vivid practice of design intervention in rural revitalization, demonstrating the professional value and social responsibility of landscape design in promoting the sustainable development of rural areas
