Rooted in the Confucian cultural heritage and natural landscape of Zoucheng, the project draws inspiration from the elegant gatherings of the Northern Song Dynasty, particularly the cultural imagery in *The Elegant Gathering in the West Garden*. It incorporates elements like the over-300-year-old fringed flowers from the Meng Mansion and traditional brocade patterns, integrating nature and cultural history into spatial creation, with the core theme of "Grand View Elegant Gathering." This theme reflects the ecological advantage of living by water while inheriting the cultural essence of literati socialization.
The project innovatively reconstructs spatial patterns and functional values by adopting the "Three-Tiered Homecoming Ritual Order," translating Confucian ritual philosophy into modern living. Through the creation of a "new urban unit" and an "urban garden," it blends residence, commerce, and culture, ensuring the sustainable use of space. The sales center is also designed to be transformed into a core venue for socializing, leisure, and sports activities for residents.
Focusing on the harmonious integration of aesthetics and practicality, the landscape emphasizes rock piling, water arranging, and winding paths. Cultural symbols, like fringed flower and bamboo slip patterns, are incorporated into decorative elements, while a symmetrical central axis design provides order and solemnity. The project accommodates diverse spaces, including negotiation areas, fitness areas, and VIP rooms, with core circulation routes designed to separate visiting and homecoming scenarios.
A key feature is the deep symbiosis between culture and space. Functional areas are named after "Brocade" series themes, aligning cultural symbols with spatial functions. The design transforms traditional literati gatherings into immersive experiences, creating an "urban secret realm" that integrates ritual, culture, and social needs.
Material selection combines traditional cultural symbols with modern materials, ensuring both aesthetic expression and functional versatility. The design focuses on sustainability, optimizing space for long-term use while contributing to regional residential upgrading and improving urban living quality.
