Project Title: Light Heritage in the Digital Age
Location: Meteora, Greece
Situated atop the dramatic, suspended rock formations of Meteora, Greece, this conceptual project envisions a "Museum of Light Heritage." The design intertwines the scientific evolution of light with the progression of human civilization and philosophy, creating a sacred pilgrimage route dictated by the unique topography.
Starting from the mountain’s shaded northern face, a looping ascent guides visitors through five distinct epochs of light:
Darkness & Fire: The primal struggle for warmth and safety.
Temples, Caves & Enlightenment: A dialogue between the sacred void and Plato’s reason.
Physical Properties: The era of scientific exploration and optics.
Wave-Particle Duality: Visualizing the uncertainty and flux of physics.
Information & Future: Light as a carrier of data in the digital age.
The design methodology itself is a manifesto of the "Digital Era." We implemented a full AI-integrated workflow, utilizing Artificial Intelligence for conceptual deduction and high-fidelity atmospheric rendering based on basic models. Simultaneously, Grasshopper was employed for parametric modeling, generating complex column morphing and structural deformations that translate ancient Greek orders into digital aesthetics.
This museum acts as a sanctuary where the history of light is solidified into stone and pixels. It invites humanity to momentarily relinquish their digital screens and reconnect with the divine, natural light of the sun.
