Nobel LA specializes in upscale/bespoke real-estate development, creating distinctive homes and

Our St. Ives property transformation began by tearing down a modest, dated, functionally-limited
2,000sq. ft. home and rebuilding it from the ground up, producing a stunning, multi-level, 14,000sq. ft.
contemporary residence overlooking a sweeping city landscape.
DESIGN PROCESS AND BRIEF
Our collaborative/expert-guided/feedback-informed design process adheres to an agreed brief
(Appendix-1), with progress-update presentations, workshops, and site walk-throughs. For St. Ives, the
client envisioned a modern hillside sanctuary balancing museum-quality luxury with practicality,
including:
• Expansive indoor-outdoor living to maximize city views.
• Family-friendly functionality with high-end aesthetics.
• Custom statement pieces (e.g. brass fireplace/floating staircase/sculptural lighting).
• Smart-home system integration for comfort/security/energy efficiency.
One main ambition was creating a residence suggesting both a personal retreat and an entertainer’s
bold, multi-level showpiece, but without compromising the natural hillside landscape. Nobel LA ensured
every design element served both purpose and beauty (Appendix-2).
3D renderings proved invaluable for visualizing realistic space utilization/structural change options in this
huge undertaking (Appendix-3).
